Who is Nesi?

Nesi is a musician, traveler and Messenger of Jerusalem based in Edmonton, Canada. He spent most of his life in Germany before settling in Edmonton in 2025. His journey has been shaped by music, faith and travels across Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Canada.

Through his music and website, Nesi shares his personal experiences, spiritual journey and message of faith, peace and understanding between different cultures and religions.

Where is Nesi from?

Nesi was born on the Black Sea coast of Turkey and grew up in Germany, where he spent most of his life. After traveling extensively around the world and across the United States and Canada, he settled in Edmonton, Canada, in 2025.

His international background and travels have strongly influenced his music, spirituality and outlook on life.

Why is Nesi called Messenger of Jerusalem?

I am promoting the holy and healing city of Jerusalem—the place closest to God and His paradise on earth. It’s something you truly feel only when you are there.

When you carry a problem or a wish, pray there with hope and faith. And your sorrow will disappear. Visiting Jerusalem brought me every time a deep sense of relief and peace. The burdens I had carried for so long were terminated when I prayed in the sacred places of all 3 Abrahamic religions.

Jerusalem offers a unique, deeply spiritual atmosphere you cannot find anywhere else in the world. I know this because I have visited many sacred places.

How is it possible to follow all religions?

It is very simple. All roads lead to Rome—or better said, to God. When you follow the books of the Creator of this universe, you will not find any discrepancies. But when you listen only to people, you may become confused.

Whenever you have a question, you can open a verse from a sacred book and reflect on it. Because the message is the same divine source, you may notice a similar style and recurring metaphors across different texts—different languages, but a comparable spirit.

What does Jerusalem mean to Nesi?

Jerusalem holds a special place in Nesi’s life. He has visited the city several times and describes these journeys as some of the most meaningful experiences of his life.

Visiting places sacred to Judaism, Christianity and Islam strengthened his relationship with God and inspired him to study the connections between different religious traditions.

For Nesi, Jerusalem represents faith, spiritual discovery, peace and a connection between religions and people.

What kind of music does Nesi perform?

Nesi performs cover songs and music inspired by different cultures from Europe, the Middle East and around the world.

His repertoire includes songs in different languages and musical traditions. Music originally began as a way for Nesi to motivate himself, but it gradually became a passion for connecting with and inspiring others.

Nesi also creates songs and adaptations inspired by the Psalms, sacred writings, his travels and his personal spiritual journey.
